Commercial deals?

Vessel is delivering in less than a months time now. Each day late has an LD of $30000, is the owner trying to be funny now, and creating all the dust and trouble up so, we will run around chasing tails while not completing the actual scope of work? I have no idea..

Mood at work.. living each day by the hours.. waiting to head home. More and more issues piling up.

Of Hikes and Ushers

This weekend was most enjoyable and relaxing since a while.

Went away on a hiking trip with Yeeling, Lenz, Wilson, Kaye, and friends, Diana, Seto and Peishan, to Kota Tinggi.

The day began hot, and we began the walk. Following later it began to rain, not only rain but was pouring. The weather was super chilling and we were all frozen especially Lens, Wilson, cos we did not bring any poncho along. Up on the submit, we were "cuddling" under the umbrella i brought along, try to shelter each other from the cold and icy winds.

We were all soaked to the skin, Wilson's cigis were all wet. Up and down we went.. Returning back we were all scuttlering to clean up the leeches that has followed us back. Only Yeeling and Diana didn't get any bites. Must be our blood too sweet, that the leeaches love us so much.

Sunday at Keesiu's place for University Cultural Center ushers gathering.
Keesiu took lots of trouble to organise a gathering today for us senior ushers who had served as ushers during our Varsity years. It seems like a long time back then, and we had some recollections of the silly things we did. The crazy nites we had controlling crowds, and the MTV stars and celebrities, politicians and all sorts of events we met during those ushering days.

We each brought little something for dinner in Pot luck style. hmms.. Seems like lots of ppl are looking for jobs :) Anyone needs to look for good capable ppl who serves guests well and apt in having a good time?

It is nice indeed to catch up with Yeelee, Chu hua, Kee siu, Patrick, Diana, Galvin, Wei wei, Eugene, etc. It was fun indeed to have worked as Usher during the uni days :)

IMF ends

IMF finally ends,

Being too far away in corner of Singapore,
The only impression of IMF i have, is the police cars parked along ECP on the Benjamin Shears Bridge. Even as late as 11 pm. Heng, almost got caught speeding.

Vern and Mich like many many would be happily going back to shopping~. Too bad i didn't go with Francis last week when he had the Clearance pass which offers a good discount.

Mean while this week,

Thailand had a military coup while Thaksin was away in New York. So sux.. no more cheap shopping and sunny pataya beaches for now. But all this seems to brood well for the ppl of Thailand. Having a check and balance in the political system, can ensure that the wish of the people can be heard.

Week of dinner

Tuesday, Munish came back from Auzzie for a short visit from his Phd programme. As i was stuck in the office.. it was almost 8 plus when i reached PS for dinner.
Came Wednesday, was suppose to go for a dinner with the CE gals and guys. But as I was totally exhausted. I had to missed it.
Romell left me a msg today to attend a formal dinner tmr nite.
Sat will be Hiking in Kota Tinggi,
Sun is gathering for UCC at Kee siew's place.

Today at dinner,
I asked my father jokingly, "eh.. marriage so leh chey.. get married liao still have to do house work.. y do ppl get married .. to do house work? " ...
Then came a torrents of lectures on how a couple must work together, must sacrifies, marriage is not easy to maintain. My parents are always so worried for me.

Luckily my sis is doing much better than I am. lol..

Recovery

Sunny sunday,

Nice cool breeze blowing, I just stay home and do cleaning up. Listening to the radio. Relaxing and delightful! :)

Lost so much weight lately, everyone notices. Now only left 52 Kg, need to find ways to put the weight back. Help anyone??

Rain

Today, it was raining,
The rain came in a big torrent and it went on and on..
Looking at the rain drops, my memories went back,
to my secondary days.

6 weeks

6 weeks to the completion of the project, heaps of things still piling up.
Still no hands to help out. Many matters have been left unsettled.

Been feeling really stressed.. From dawn to dusk, every moment production is chasing for this, bosses are asking for that, endless meetings drone on and on.. asking for things I cannot deliver.

Money is hard earn indeed..

I tried dodging,

Weekend of 9 Sept
This was the weekend which I was really looking forward to. Cos Michelle aka my senior in TJ so graciously organised a dinner outing for NTU channel. 12 of us were there, there was Joh, Fairy and hubby, Vernonia, Hum, Wang, Taku, Leion, Dreamland Ayukie and Samuel and myself.

Spent Sat in the office, afternoon zipped away in bed again, and pops at New Asia bar in the evening. Duwei, Deming, (TJ sailors) Angeline, Cherina and Simon was there. Hey guys, you all haven paid up yet!

Sunday was again back in office.. Did some tidying up, and then went to visit Viktor. Julia his daughter is growing up fine, looking more and more like Miffy I think. Her hair is becoming like a mushroom head though.. like those you see in Super mario :P. Went with Vik to catch Singapore Dreaming.

haha.. Wad a dream life is...

2 weeks passed!

The moment of quietness was a bit too long.. Hmm.. gosh,

Sat, Air show, wine gathering at Romell's place

Last weekend 2nd Sept was the company's family day at Sentosa. As I figured that it would be hell of aa mess to get to and out of Sentosa with thousands of foreign talents aka, apnn I rather go home and rest before heading to Romell's place for wine gathering. The afternoon zipped away in bed.. Until my dad came back in the late afternoon. Seldom is he so enthusiastic, "Ni yao qu kan kong Zhan ma?"

So it was a afternoon out with my father at the air show at Paya laber air base. There was the air display which showed the manuvournility of our fighter jets, doing mock up attacks using Apache and troopers helicopters. And of course the clique of parachuters called the "red lion", whom never failed to make their appearance on every national day.

In the evening, Ryan, Francis and myself turned up at his place at near to 8pm, armed with lots of Awfully chocolates in hand. The evening went well, lots of wine, food and cakes.

Sunday..

I wonder how come I ended up at work again on the sunday morning. Anyway the morning zipped away in the silly office and I came home cos I was simply too tired to do anything else. . after a nice swim at Mt Faber Safra. Tiancai and Alan (TJC friends) msg to watch Monster house in the afternoon. Quickly "beaming" myself to Cineleisure, the tickets was almost sold out. So in the end we ended up in Cathay to watch "The Devil wears Prada". Another real life in the city show, about craving a career and sacrificing personal life. Something to ponders over work life balance.

Arrival of Ocean Monarch

The following week came really fast and as quickly as it comes.. it went. I guess it has alot to do with the arrival of the next project that I am working on. So from now onwards, I am the man who "has one leg in 2 boats".

Things just gonna get worse to worst in office...
