DeepaRaya Weekend

This weekend is one where Deepavali fell on Sat, and Hari Raya on the following Tuesday.

Last week I was really looking forward to Friday, as it is the long awaited, cum overdue, cum the desperately looooonngggged for public holiday, finally can put all the craps aside.. Then in the evening, someone mentioned "eh.. Holiday was brought forward to monday, we the rest of singapore has sat, sun , mon, tue off" Some company even organise trip to Bali for their employee... Instantly I was diaozzzz~~

but when friday came.. seems like everyone's damn tired. All put aeroplane.. Including me. Supposed to have joined a colleague at Holland V for dinner.. but I felt so sleepy and tired and drained.. that I headed home.. and then.. .straight away.. "Pomp!!"

Then later on.. Ann super rare msg me to jio to go out. But I simply too dead. So got to fly her aeroplane again.

Sat, same old place again
Came Sat, so I worked up early.. During the meeting we had last week, the project ppl. mentioned that a task had to be completed by monday. But since it was the holiday weekend. It is simply not possible to do so. After being overruled, they went to boss to mention. And boss came over and ask me to complete the task over the weekend.... And so.. no prize for guessing where I was on Sat.

Vivocity
Luckily it was not too tiring at the end of the day. Dennis msg to go shop for clothing. Since vivo is newly opened, ended up there. The place is simply swamping with kids, shoppers and people.

Mid Night Death Note
After that somehow, ended up Watching Death Note. The story is about a genius law student who had found a note book Called Death Note, which killed the people whose name is written in it. The story is a brilliant criminal thriller. That is quite different from the movie that we normally watch.

Tried out this new steam boat place in Bugis. The soup base is made from a thin porriage. Quite interesting and worth a try.

More meet ups

The weekend was also spend with CE coursemates for regular met up. It was a nice nite of pools and chit chat in parkway.
Then Tuesday was a house visit to a colleague's place for Hari Raya Lunch.

Come tomorrow.. will have to look forward to Christmas holidays.

One more week

One more week to Delivery.

Pressure is still high, work is still urgent,

My grandma passed away..

She passed away at age of 87.
Peacefully in her sleep, she left us,
Cold hands and feets in the early hours.
May peace be with her for eternity to come.

Gones..

One week past quickly,

Had been sick, took a couple of days of MC,
Things just going on like that.

No problem, hiccups happens all the time.
Just have to look forward,
Keep looking forward and better times will always come.
